Pineapple Juice with Chia Seeds

This is a quick recipe for a refreshing pineapple juice with a twist.

Black Chia Seeds – 2 tbsp.
Water – 1 ½ cup
Fresh Pineapple – 5 slices
Sugar – 1 tbsp.
Directions
- Soak chia seeds overnight in water
- Crush pineapple slices in a blender to create thick juice
- Mix with soaked chia seeds
- You may choose to add 1 tbsp. of sugar
- Chill in refrigerator for 1 hour
Notes
- Pineapple crush can be used instead of fresh pineapple. Add ½ cup of additional water if using crush.
- Frozen or canned pineapples can also be used. Thaw frozen pineapples cubes/slices at room temperature for about ½ hour before blending it.
